Competition success in Cham Hirsgarten is part of the local recreation area of Cham. The public garden lies between two parks and the edge of Zugersee. The objective of the invited conceptual study won by Vogt Landscape Architects Zurich was to rethink the structure, quality and identity of Hirsgarten. The concept bases on the existing plants and structures reminding of the traditional public park. Subtle changes accentuate these spatial qualities, the formal elements of the public garden and the specific atmosphere of the place.
